I really loved the nearby Fort Canning Park, just about 1.5 km away, perfect for a relaxing stroll. The dinner buffet at the hotel was excellent with a nice ambiance and is conveniently located next to the canal for a pleasant post-meal walk.

Possibly the best and really nice stay on 9th of February. Best and amazingly efficient staff, always with a smile. Delicious and astonishing breakfast for indian cuisine for all tastes. Stunning very central location, short walk to river side, the city area and restaurants and bars. Nearby Bar Bar Black Sheep - great place to chill out. Great way to end our christmas.

The view of the river and Singapore skyline was good and our room was reasonably spacious and updated. The personnel was fast and polite. It had great and beautiful location 4-6 minutes walking distance from Alkaff Bridge.

The live music at the lounge downstairs was a great way to unwind after a day out and about Singapore. There were beautiful walking trails behind the hotel that were also very enjoyable. The location didn't seem so bad, taxi fares were not unreasonble to Orchard Road, China Town, Boat Quay. The rooms and beds were comfortable,the room was clean, staff was helpful. The condition of the rugs, (although they were still quite alright) I think brought down the decorative effect and maybe kept the hotel from being a 5 Star but that was okay because the price was also not 5 Star. I would stay at this hotel again. I really enjoyed my time there.

The gym was good with scenic river views.

location: the hotel was close to a bus station, easy to go anywhere, in clarke quay, and the center of the city. the staff were amicable and fantastically friendly, we had a smooth check-in process.

Staff were friendly. The hotel room was clean and spacious. The location along the river was very relaxing, and close to restaurants/bars, and also Clark Quay and the city.

Internet was ridiculously expensive at $20 SGD per hour, and the time couldn't be saved up. It was buy one hour, and that hour expires from when you first start using it. Breakfast was mediocre with not much selection, and not very fresh. Drinks in the Emerald lounge were way too expensive, $9.50 for a can of coke. Gym was too small and could only fit 2-3 max at a time.

Excellent location with views of the river, quiet but had a good ambience. Ideally situated for restaurants & transport. Staff very friendly & helpful, especially in the Jade Lounge & the exterior seating by the river. Restaurants were very good & we had an enjoyable time.

Very long wait at reception. This followed by a very prolonged check in process. Very long check out process. The room was not very clean, carpet stained. The bed was small (queen) compared to similar priced hotels (king).

Toothbrush and tooth paste require additional ? concierge staff service needs much improvement.

hotel staff are bad understand and speak englich, we paid breakfast more early, but we must were tell about it everyday! They everyday did not have city map.

Good location & near to good amenities. Staff very friendly and reasonable price.

You should follow the rules about no smoking rooms! Our room was a smoking one and the smell was overpowering. We as a couple, have never smoked. We asked for a room change but none were available. With the current changes in smoking habits around the world, Riverview should have consider more no smoking executive suites.
